Doctor of technical sciences, professor Fuad Mahmud oglu Hajizade was born on June 19, 1952. In 1969-1974 he studied at the Faculty of “Mathematics-Mechanics” of Leningrad (St. Petersburg) State University. In 1981-1982, he was on long business trips to the Institute of physics of the atmosphere of the USSR Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Oceanology and then the Institute of Space Research in Moscow. From 1974 to 2008, he worked at the National Aerospace Agency (NAA). He worked as director of the NAA Institute of Ecology (1991-2007). From 2007 to 2008, he served as the first deputy general director of NAA. In 2009-2017 he worked in the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2017, he has been working as a senior researcher at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics. He is currently a professor of the Department of “Ecology” at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and construction.
