Nazim Veliyev Aslan oglu

Nazim Veliyev Aslan oglu, born in 1960, is the head of the Science, Technology and Nanotechnology Department of the SOCAR Head Office.
Graduated from the Oil and Gas Field Faculty of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry. Received a second education at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a degree in State and Municipal Management. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. Has a Doctor of Science degree
International Academic Accreditation and Attestation Committee. He is a doctor, professor at the International Ecoenergy Academy, as well as a full foreign member of the Russian Engineering Academy. He is the representative of SOCAR and Azerbaijan in the Energy Charter, as well as the representative of SOCAR in the World Petroleum Congress.
As the curator of the “Research and Design Institute of Oil and Gas” SOCAR, determines the basic principles of the direction of research work. For more than 25 years, it has represented SOCAR at international oil and gas exhibitions.
He is the author of over 85 scientific papers and articles. He has many diplomas and certificates in various fields of science and technology. For merits in the oil sector he was awarded the Progress medal, was awarded the Order of Labor of the 3rd degree, and was also awarded the title of Honored Engineer of Azerbaijan.
He is a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals “Oilfield Business” (Russia) and “Azerbaijan Oil Industry” (Azerbaijan).
