Department of Innovation Research
The Department is engaged in the development and implementation of energy-saving technologies for alternative and sustainble energy resources, working out new materials for solar cells, design wind and water installations for energy. These studies are conducted taking into account the recent advances. The Department collaborates with universities in USA, Germany, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary, Turkey, England, Pakistan, China and India.
In the Department, there are 11 employees, including 8 PhDs. The Department consists of four Sections: Physics, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, and Biophysics.
Head of the department is prof. Rashad G. Abaszade. R.G.Abaszade graduated in Physics from Baku State University (Bachelor ‘s degree in Physical Electronics in 2003, and Master’s degree in Optoelectronics in 2006 with honors degree). He is Doctor of Philosophy. R.G.Abaszade is the author of 128 scientific articles, 9 books and 2 patents.
